One WhatsApp number, a whole team answering
The WhatsApp Business app is built for one phone. This is how a team of two to ten people shares one number without answering twice or missing a customer.

What the WhatsApp Business app allows
The app runs on one phone. You can link a few extra devices, and everyone on them then sees every chat.
What the app does not have is ownership: nobody can take a chat, there are no shared labels and there is no handoff. With two or more people on one number, a customer gets two answers, or none.
What the WhatsApp Business API changes
With the API (Meta's Cloud API), software connects to your number instead of a phone. A shared inbox on top gives every person their own login on the same number.
Alatusa is such an inbox, for WhatsApp, Instagram and Messenger together. It connects through Meta as a verified Tech Provider.
How a team splits the work
Every chat shows who has it and where it stands.
- Yours: the chats assigned to you.
- Follow-up: customers who wrote again after your reply, so a second question is not lost.
- Labels such as New order or Paid, shared by the whole team.
- A welcome message that answers a first message on its own.
- Quick replies for the questions you get every day.
Keep the app on your phone, or not
You can keep using the WhatsApp Business app on your phone next to Alatusa, on the same number; open the app at least once every 14 days. Or connect a number without WhatsApp and run everything in Alatusa. It is your choice.
What it costs
Alatusa is free for 2 people and 100 conversations a month. Pro is €30 a month for up to 10 people, with conversations not counted.
Meta bills some WhatsApp messages on its own invoice, whichever tool you use. The guide on WhatsApp API pricing explains what Meta charges for.
