About Alatusa

How it started

My girlfriend runs Aliada Chick, a fashion shop for women. Most of her sales begin with a message. Someone sees her on TikTok, Instagram or Facebook, falls for a dress, and writes to her on WhatsApp, Instagram or Messenger. That is wonderful, until the messages keep coming, on every channel at once, all day long. She had no overview anymore. She wanted to help every customer, and there simply was not enough time. Customers were waiting, and she felt it. Every evening she ended the day with the feeling that someone had been left behind.

One of those evenings she asked me if I could help her. I said yes, and I started building Alatusa.

The first time we tried to connect her account, we sat together for almost eight hours, and it did not work. Setting it up was far too complicated. I had wanted to take stress away from her, and I had given her more. That stayed with me. So I went back to the beginning. I worked out exactly what had gone wrong and why, and I rebuilt the connection to Alatusa from the ground up, so that it is easy and fast.

Then came December 2025, the busiest month of her year. Her phone was so full of WhatsApp messages, photos and videos that it froze. She could not use WhatsApp Business anymore without her phone breaking down, and she was losing customers. So she connected her number to Alatusa herself. This time it worked in one go, and it was set up in minutes. When I came home from work that evening, dozens of messages had already gone through Alatusa. She has answered her buyers through Alatusa every day since.

Why I kept building

I realised she could not be the only one. So I looked at the market, and what I found were tools priced for big companies. A small shop that grows through its messages could hardly afford them. I wanted every shop to have the comfort a big company has, at a price a small shop can pay.

For that, I had to rebuild Alatusa completely. I connected Stripe for payments and Envia for shipping, and I built it on a secure foundation, with the code scanned by Aikido. The biggest hurdle was becoming a Meta Tech Provider: Meta's approval that your app may officially connect businesses to WhatsApp, Instagram and Messenger. Meta's developer environment is hard to understand, and once your app finally works, the real test begins. First Meta verifies your business. Then you show in videos how your app uses every permission you ask for. Meta's reviewers test the app themselves, and only when everything complies do you get those permissions. Alatusa received eleven. It was one of the hardest things I did this year, and since August 2026 Alatusa has been a Meta-Verified Tech Provider. From that moment, Alatusa could welcome other shops, at a price every shop can afford.

Alatusa takes over as much repetitive work as possible, and you keep full control over everything that happens. With Alatusa, growing never makes your subscription more expensive. The name
